Meet Dr. Schmidt
Nicole Schmidt, PhD
Dr. Nicole Schmidt is a Licensed Psychologist (LP) in the state of Nebraska. She received her bachelor's degree from Creighton University and her doctorate in clinical psychology from Wichita State University. Dr. Schmidt has experience in a variety of settings, including outpatient and residential mental health, community mental health, university counseling, and Veterans Administration.
She is passionate about working with trauma survivors, and individuals who are struggling with depression, anxiety, emotion dysregulation, and general adjustment. She also enjoys couples therapy, as well as psychological testing.
Dr. Schmidt has been trained in the following evidence-based therapies:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for depression, chronic pain, and insomnia
